MBL continues to build UK retail presence

with new Surrey-based audio dealer: StudioAV

German high-end audio brand MBL is continuing to build its presence in the UK audio market. Having recently launched a new retail partnership with Northern Ireland-based hi-fi retailer Kantata Audio, the company is delighted to now announce a new agreement with Surrey-based StudioAV.

Based in Chobham, near Woking in Surrey, StudioAV is one of the UK’s leading specialists in high performance mid-to-high end hi-fi systems, featuring products from several of the world's foremost brands. "We're truly passionate about our chosen brands and fervently believe that they offer the ultimate balance between excellence in sound quality and elegance in aesthetics," said StudioAV's Mike Short.

"We've always favoured brands that don’t follow convention but rather work on their own proprietary technology, and MBL is a fine example of this. When we first heard a full MBL system, we were transfixed! MBL is, of course, justifiably famous for its pioneering ‘Radialstrahler’ omnidirectional loudspeakers, originally created in 1979 by company founders Meletzky, Bieneke and Lehnart and subsequently perfected and advanced by current chief engineer Jürgen Reis. At the same time, the brand’s growing range of stunningly crafted, masterfully performing electronics has equally amassed an impressive complement of awards across its three series: the top-of-range Reference Line, the innovative Noble Line and the elegantly compact Cadenza Line.
