Designed, engineered and hand built in Cambridgeshire, England, AVID’s turntables are supplied ‘naked*’, allowing its customers the freedom to choose arms and cartridges independently or accommodate pre-existing purchases.
Buyers looking to add an AVID tonearm, or an AVID tonearm and cartridge at the point of purchasing a turntable, can unlock significant discounts, reducing the overall package price.
Customers purchasing any AVID turntable together with a tonearm can receive a ten per cent discount on an AVID Nexus tonearm or five percent on the more affordable Altus.
If an AVID cartridge is added, further discounts can be unlocked, including six percent off the flagship Reference Ruby cartridge, four percent off a Boron and two percent off an Ionic.

The offer applies to all of AVID’s British-made turntables, including the Diva II, Volvere, Sequel, and Acutus models, as well as the recent Actus Dark Iron! AVID turntables are priced from £3,000 (Diva II) to £37,500 (Acutus Reference Mono).
The discounts are available throughout AVID’s global retailer network. In 2024, AVID expanded its reach by making its turntables (and its entire product range) available through Richer Sounds’ 50 stores. Customers can also purchase AVID products via Richer’s website or telesales, with delivery available to anywhere in mainland UK.
