Tannoy is heading to The UK Hi-Fi Show Live
Tannoy to demonstrate the legendary Kensington and show several key Dual Concentric models
13 September 2024, Hamilton, Scotland, UK: Tannoy, a proven leader in loudspeaker design and audio quality since 1926, is taking a number of its Prestige Series and Super Gold Monitor Series loudspeakers to The UK Hi-Fi Show Live(Ascot) this month, and demonstrating a classic: the Kensington GR (£19,995) floorstander.
In addition to the main demonstrations, Tannoy will be showing models from the recently introduced Super Gold Monitor Series, the SGM 10 and SGM 12, plus Tannoy’s entry-level Dual Concentric model, the Autograph Mini and the Turnberry GR floorstander.
Tannoy’s 93 db-efficient 2-way Kensington GR benefits from a 10-inch Dual Concentric driver with Pepperpot Waveguide tweeter, contained in a slender oiled walnut finish birch ply cabinet that belies its reassuringly heavy 41 kg.
Also on display with a 10-inch 93 db-efficient Dual Concentric drive unit will be the Turnberry GR, an accomplished Tannoy classic with broader dimensions, more streamlined components and great affordability as a result.
Tannoy will be represented by its UK agent, Symphony Distribution, which will be hosting the demonstrations, introducing Tannoy’s unique range and explaining more about the company and its proprietary Dual Concentric drive unit technologies.
The loudspeakers will be driven by amplification from Zeiler Audio and source components from Connected Fidelity.
Tannoy can be experienced in room 427/428 (Symphony/Connected Fidelity).
