Sun Audio has released the Purified 4 for desktop or bookshelf applications. The desktop model is similar to the floorstander except for the tripod stand.

The Purified 4 Desktop is available in several variants with PURIFI 4-inch woofers and BlieSMa 25mm tweeters. Every variant does include a crossover profile tuned for optimal tonal balance. The spherical shaped mid woofer enclosure enables an exceptional linear on- and off-axis response.

Furthermore a super small 9 inch passive subwoofer set is added to the product line, the Atohm 9. The sealed aluminum enclosure has an internal volume of only 8,5 liter.

With its minimalistic industrial look and black powder coated finish, it will blend in easy in most interiors.

In case you need more SPL capability, you can add another pair and stack them. Depending on the capacity of your amplifier, two to three units can be configured in parallel. The ANSI/CEA2010-B rating for the Atohm 9 is 110dB (1m), it has 82dB sensitivity and can handle a peak power of 1200W. The Atohm 9 is sold in pairs.

And last but not least, Sun Audio introduces the Nord DSP-DAC NCAS500MP Amplifier. This integrated Hypex NCore® amplifier with onboard Hypex DSP engine and DAC is built in cooperation with UK based Nord Acoustics. The DSP profile for the Purified 4 loudspeakers are pre-loaded to offer an easy to use, Plug & Play solution. The Nord DSP-DAC NCAS500MP has both digital and analogue inputs, powered outputs for the tweeters and mid woofers, and subwoofer outputs (RCA). A remote control is included in the package.
