The founder-owned and run Cambridgeshire-based manufacturer (since 1995) has teamed up with Richer Sounds to offer its entire range* online via the retailer’s website (or telesales), for delivery to anywhere in mainland UK, including any of its 50 shops nationwide.

The deal means it has never been easier for music lovers to access and buy AVID’s range of hand-made turntables, tonearms and cartridges, plus precision-engineered amplifiers, loudspeakers, cables and accessories. 

In addition, several Richer Sounds stores, including Holborn, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton, will have the facility to demonstrate AVID’s acclaimed British-made entry-level Ingenium Plug&Play turntable in-store. 

Sold complete with tonearm and cartridge, the Ingenium Plug&Play is the ideal choice as a first ‘serious’ record player. Plus, until 25 April 2024, Ingenium Plug&Play turntable buyers can receive a free AVID Platform (support platform, worth £250) when using a voucher code online, in store or via telesales.

AVID famously designs and builds virtually every component itself at its Huntingdon factory, using high-precision CNC machines set to exacting tolerances, with final hand assembly undertaken by a passionate team of experienced technicians.
